What an amazing, historical and fun day. Our tour of Herculaneum and Mt. Vesuvius was booked in the US with “Tours of Pompeii with Lello & Co.” Paolo picked up promptly at 8:30 AM and is an extraordinary driver as well as conversationalist. The car was immaculate and very comfortable. We met Lello at Herculaneum and spent almost three hours touring the ancient city. Lello is a brilliant archeologist and historian as well as being very personable. We were in awe....the entire time. After Herculaneum, Paolo took us to Mt. Vesuvius. It was a really nice and peaceful drive. He waited for us while we walked the trail to the top. After that we had lunch and then drove the gorgeous scenic route along the coast back to Sorrento. It was a full 8 hour day and just perfect in every way. Grazie Mille, Paolo and Lello ????

FANTASTIC!!!! We chose a private tour with Lello and Co. The driver (Nick) picked us up at the cruise port and drove us to Sorrento for some free time to explore and enjoy Sorrento. Then we met up with our professional guide (Rafael Lello) for Pompeii. His enthusiasm, passion and knowledge were incredible. This was the best tour I have ever been on. We learned that this was his company later. Take this tour, I would definitely recommend it.

Lello lello lello.... he was the Most awesome tour guide I have EVER had! My kids (well young adults 19 and 25) and my husband and I got back yesterday and we cannot stop quoting lellos sayings and the way he called me mama, my husband papa and how he pronounced my kids names. His knowledge on Pompeii and the history of Italy in general was outstanding. He was so enthusiastic about his profession as an archeologist and it showed on his face. We all definitely learned a lot, laughed TONS and enjoyed every single minute of the tour. We loved him so much. Wish we could of brought him home with us lol He was so entertaining!! So many beautiful pictures to take! Our driver Leo was awesome as well. He was punctual, drive us safely to and from our place. He gave us insights and options where to go shop, eat lunch ( which we did the wine tasting up on Mt Vesuvius. That was outstanding as well. Good food, wine and I must say I loved their olives. Here in the states it’s sooo different. Definitely recommend this tour. Especially if you get lello!!! Thank you so much
