We had the most beautiful , amazing and informative tour with Alex who took us to Amalfi and Pompei. We stopped to take pictures and had something to eat along the way. We then met up with Marcello our Pompei guide who was passionate and informative. We learned so much about Pompei as well as mount Vesuvius. I highly recommend these two gentlemen if you want to take a tour like this . These are the best guys to call.

Our tour of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii with Mario was the highlight of our stay in Naples. Mario is personable and highly knowledgeable about the history of Naples and the entire coastal region. He pointed out landmarks and places of interest along the way and told fascinating stories about the area. We made several short stops for photos, and made a quick stop at a road side stand for lemon sorbet. Delicious!!! We had two one hour breaks, one in Positano and the other in Sorrento, and our day ended with a longer stop in Pompeii. Mario is a masterful tour guide. He planned the day perfectly and combined conversation and quiet time beautifully. We ended our day with him feeling like we had a new best friend in Naples. The tour is worth the time and cost. Make sure you request Mario as your guide.
