    Following the sea route we will cross the countryside of Orosei, to reach the unspoiled naturalistic area of Su Barone, characterized by a large golden beach, bathed by emerald-colored water typical of this stretch of coast, from the thick pine forest behind the beach. and from the largest part of the pond of Su Petrosu and Avalè.

    In the wetlands we will be able to admire a rich marshy birdlife: gray herons, egrets, coots, cormorants, moorhens, seagulls, to which migratory species such as ducks, pink flamingos, and Italian knights are periodically added.     After a short break to observe and learn more about the area, we set off towards the Nuraghe Gulunie of Osalla, one of the best preserved in the Orosei area and the only one with similar views over the sea of the Gulf of Orosei. From its strategic position, an astonishing panorama opens up, which embraces the coast to the north to the mouth of the Cedrino river and reaches the small jewel of Osala di Dorgali beach to the south. Enchanted by so much beauty, we reach a farm immersed in the countryside of Orosei. Here the owner of the winery, a precious custodian of local wine traditions, will have the pleasure of accompanying us on a walk among the rows.

Sardinia is so full of things to see in the middle of the wilderness, like the wild Barbagia, ancient Nuraghe ruins, and of course vineyards to sample delicious wine. Melina does a great job spicing in local flavor to the tour as she navigates through the exciting terrain.

14 settembre 2024, trekking al monte Tiscali con la guida Melina, poliglotta, di grande sensibilità ambientale e buona conoscitrice dei luoghi sotto il profilo naturalistico, storico e culturale. Ha saputo ben dosare l’impegno, alternandolo con piacevoli momenti di distensione e raccoglimento. Il viaggio di avvicinamento in auto, se si parte da Orosei, non è tempo buttato via, perché dà modo alla guida di fornire ogni possibile informazione sul territorio e una riflessione sui temi che lo riguardano. Il giro a piedi si snoda poi su vecchi sentieri di pastori e carbonai in una natura incontaminata ed ha come meta l’esplorazione di una grotta, sede di un arcaico insediamento umano. Ma è anche l’occasione per immergersi in una nicchia lontana dal clamore del turismo di massa, che è disseminata di tante altre perle da scoprire: sarà per la prossima volta.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit mit Melina, die uns während der Fahrt viel Wissenswertes über die Geschichte und die Archäologie Sardiniens erzählt hat (perfektes Deutsch). Da es an dem Abend keine anderen Gäste gab, konnten wir zu dritt ganz stressfrei plaudern. Melina geht auf alle Fragen und Wünsche ein und ist auch selbst interessiert an ihren Gästen. Sie engagiert sich sehr für ihr Land und dessen Erhalt. Nach einer Rundtour durch die Berge mit ihren verschiedenen Gesteinsarten und der Besichtigung einer alten Grabstätte fuhren wir zu einem schönen Weingut. Zwischen den Reben erhielten wir interessante Infos von Winzer Pietro zum Wachstum der Trauben und konnten auch dort verschiedene Weine bei Brot, Salami und Gurke probieren. Mitten im Weinberg gibt es eine kleine Outdoorküche und Theke, so dass man direkt in den Weinreben essen und trinken kann. Sehr schön! Wir haben für morgen direkt einen Tisch reserviert ???? Vielen Dank an Melina für die ungezwungene und unkomplizierte Zeit!
