Guided tour along the vineyards on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, a pleasant stroll through the scents and flavors of the wine. Afterwards, a Mediterranean lunch is served with wines such as Falanghina, Lacryma Christi, Aglianico and other typical wines. The tour manager will meet you by the nearest pick-up point to your accommodation between 11:00 and 11:30 am (see timetable) and this tour will last approximately 4 hours in total. There was a light rain on the day of our visit. It was supposed to rain all week so we dressed appropriately and brought umbrellas. They asked once we got to the winery if we wanted to go ahead and eat first to see if the rain stopped before going on the tour, and since some people didn’t bring umbrellas, the group said sure. But after the rushed meal and tasting, we were ushered to their shop and then quickly onto the bus and back to the meeting place with no explanation. I asked the tour guide why we didn’t take a tour of the vineyards and he said we couldn’t because of the rain. Do not go in the spring for sure! The experience was supposed to last four hours and instead lasted less than 3.

Really nice winery, food was great, wines were tasty. Company was good. I wish there was more of a vineyard tour.

We liked the tour company enough to use them again the next day. Tour of organic winery on the slopes of Vesuvius was absolutely delightful, followed by a simple, delicious lunch from local ingredients- and of course wonderful wines.
