A Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius excursion is an incredible experience that combines history, archaeology and nature. You will be able to visit Pompeii, the ancient Roman city with all its iconic places. During this excursion you will have the opportunity to visit another archaeological site, that of Herculaneum, one of the most fascinating sites of antiquity, less famous than Pompeii but extraordinarily well preserved thanks to the volcanic mud flow that sealed the city in 79 AD. An excursion not to be missed is a visit to Vesuvius, a unique experience with spectacular views of the Gulf of Naples. It is one of the most famous volcanoes in the world, famous for the eruption of 79 AD that destroyed Pompeii and Herculaneum. The most spectacular point is the visit to the crater, a gigantic depression located at the top of the volcano with still active fumaroles.

The driver Francesco was fabulous and treated us like VIPs. He provided interesting information as he drove us from our hotel to Mt. Vesuvius and then on the Pompeii where we met Grace—best tour guide ever! I recommend using Amalfi Coast Tours 100%!

Me and my wife had a wonderful day with Francesco as the driver and guide on a tour from Napoli to Vesuv Herculaneum and Pompeii. We strongly recommend his services. We also had with him a second excellent tour two days later to Amalfi - Positano

Met Amedeo at Naples central where he took us to Mount Vesuvius, Herculaneum and then to Pompeii. Amedeo was an excellent driver who gave us information on the sights in Naples, he was very helpful and had brilliant manners making us very welcome and safe. I would 100% recommend using these guys for private trips
