    West Thumb geyser basin offers many different hot springs and geysers to see with an optional walk around a board walk. Site to see in the area would include: Thumb Paint Pots, Fishing Cone, Abyss Pool, and a view of Yellowstone Lake. Time in the area varies.

    A stop at Moose Falls to snag a picture of the waterfall. Time in area varies.

    Lower Geyser Basin includes a number of hot springs, mud pools, and frequently erupting geysers. Time in the area varies.

I wanted to go to Yellowstone on Jan 25 (the last day I was in Wyoming). I tried to contact Scenic Safaris five different ways: 1) I went to their office at 2:00 pm. on Jan. 24, but no one was there. 2) I called them, but no one answered. 3) I left a message, but no one returned it. 4) That evening I went to the website to book the trip online, but the site said you could not book that trip online; you need to call. 5) I left a message on their website again telling them I wanted to go on the trip, but they never responded. In fact, I called and left multiple messages asking them to please get back to me, but I am still waiting. I also asked via email for the manager to get back to me, and I am again still waiting. Seeing Yellowstone in winter would have been a special experience, but I will have to do it some other time ... and you can be sure I will not call Scenic Safaris.

This is the tour we wanted to take but no one will answer the phone. We left message with no response. Due to weather conditions we waited until we were almost in Jackson to book, when you try to book the site says call to book. Well that would be good if the answered the phone or returned your call when they ask you to leave a message. Just went by their place of business during their business hours, no one there. Very poorly run business.

We spent the day with Erik on a trip into Yellowstone. What a great experience! Erik was the best driver/tour guide who knew so many interesting facts and went out of his was to get us the pictures we wanted!
