We hadn't really planned on a guide as we set out to explore Carara National Park but we met Ronald at the entrance and decided to enlist him to show us around. What a great decision that was! He had a very good eye for finding most interesting birds in the park, knew how to find them. He is very knowledgeable and shares about Costa Rican History, Flora and Fauna. He is a great companion to spend time going through and exploring the park. We learned a lot and improved our binocular and spotting skills while having a fun time and many laughs. Unfortunately we had already prebooked our guide for Manuel Antonio, as we would have preferred Ronald over the one we got there. He is an official Costa Rica guide with years of experience and it shows. Thank you so much Ronald, all the best and Pura Vida. Susanne and Tom.

We had a great day with Our guide geovanna, she showed us lots of animals and explained interesting facts about nature and wildlife in costa rica. We were picked up on time in our hotel and even had the possibility to see the crocodiles nearby the parc. Can pnly recommend!

The visit was amazing. My guide Geovana is very passionate about Costa Rica, habitat of the park and very knowledgeable (I learned so much about various birds and animals) we managed to spot everything, pretty macaws, toucans, lots of other birds and small animals… plus crocodiles in few minutes from the park. Park is not very crowded but really need a good guide to be able to spot birds and animals:)
