Kazarimaki, is a way of making sushi rolls. It is known as Art sushi roll in English You can be taught by the teacher who was born in Kyoto and belong to Japan Sushi Instructor Association as the professional teacher from Tokyo Sushi Academy. You can make and eat this special sushi with fantastic peach-blossom pattern.

I've experienced a sushi art class elsewhere on a previous trip, but this one was better because the steps were easy to follow, the instructor and her husband (tool pics for us and did the clean up and dishes) spoke in English clearly, and were simply delightful! My friends (from CA, and on their first visit to Japan) and I (from Hawaii and my 11th trip to Japan) are so inspired to make sushi return we return! We found the ingredients needed to color the rice at a nearby supermarket so we bought some to bring home. My daughter, her husband, and in-laws.are planning a trip to Jaoan in Decmeber, and I will definitely recommend this class to them. ????????
