The tour gave us an excellent feel for Tokyo and it’s different cities, eating and shopping and transport system. The tour guide, Amr, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We booked a private walking tour of Tokyo with Viator. We were not sure what to expect. Albert contacted us via WhatsApp and asked us what we would like to see in Tokyo. We sent him our list of sights. He was t our hotel on time. We used the subway and the JR pass to go around Tokyo. He familiarized us with the subway system. help us get the JR tickets. He was very attentive to our three children. We not only learned from Albert about the important sights we saw but also the Japanese culture and traditions! Albert is not only an excellent tour guide but an excellent human being!

Our guide spent more time.looking up how to get to each place on his phone and going backwards and forwards in the metro than we spent at the destinations. He.gave us very little information - we knew more about the places from the guide on our ship. We knew nothing about the metro and he let us buy 3000 yen tickets when we were flying home early the next morning and this took all our cash. He told us at the end we could get a refund which was over 2000 yen each from a ticket office. We made our own way back to the hotel and were sent from from one ticket office to another. We were now hot, tired and when we found the correct one there was a long wait, so we had to give up. We were also then disorientated and it took us some time to get to an area we recognised. He was not a guide, but just a student who with difficulty got us from place to place. Not the standard we have had from you before.and definitely not worth the money.
