Highlights of Japan Tour: 10-day Small Group

Japan is one of my favorite destinations now because of this tour. I definitely would not have been able to see or do many things on my own without Becki or Shawn’s help ! There were so many processes that I hadn’t even thought of, like how to get our rail passes or suica cards, etc. All of this was handled happily by them. They were very accommodating in that if you asked for help with a reservation, they would help you book it since they knew the language. On one of the days we had more free time, and Shawn had sent us a bunch of shops and restaurants to check out in the area we were in. It ended up being one of our favorite days of the trip because we would have never explored that area otherwise. I went with my sister, and I think we both will be returning to Japan in the future because of our experience with Japan and More. I will DEFINITELY be signing up for another tour from them when I go. :)

This was the best international vacation experience I have ever had. I have been on a Rick Steve’s tour of Europe and this was even better. The extra-small group tour was an amazing stress-free way to explore Japan. It was great having American tour guides who had lived in Japan show us the best places to eat, shop and visit while explaining the different cultural norms. I am intimidated by the language barrier when traveling internationally and I don’t enjoy planning the logistics of a vacation so the tour was perfect for us. Everything went off without a hitch due to the meticulous planning of Becki and Shawn. We were able to relax and have fun and not have the stress of getting around an unknown place. We were taken such good care of and it was a pleasure traveling with our guides. This tour exceeded every expectation I had and made my 2019 Mother-Daughter trip one of the best ever. Japan and More is a professionally run operation with a team that has a talent for what they are doing. p.s. Do not believe Shawn when he says he is not good at karaoke.

An outstanding experience! This is my third visit to Japan and the first time I join a tour with Japan and More - but certainly not the last, as we intend to visit Japan many more times. Shawn and Becki are knowledgeable, accommodating, extremely organized and showed a perfect touch in giving us 10 days that were fun, instructive and relaxed. I cannot think of a better way to visit this spectacular country.
