We had a wonderful day with Kazu Taka, our guide for the day in Kanazawa. She came prepared with a full agenda and expertly guided us around the city on the public transit system, hitting all the hot spots. She was a delight to spend the day with.

We were four Canadians travelling Japan on a cruise ship and had a special interest in seeing Kanazawa, Thanks to Mike for working hard to arrange a tour for us and to our guide Reiko, we enjoyed a spectacular day in Kanazawa. Reiko was extremely nice, fun, very knowledgeable and made it one of our favourite days. We learned a lot and loved our time in the Geisha district, the samurai district, gorgeous Kerkonen Park, Kanazawa Castle and a delicious lunch in an authentic Japanese restaurant. We were a little early for cherry blossoms in this area, but it was still beautiful and I can only imagine what it looks like in full bloom. Thank you very much to Mike and Reiko for making this tour happen for us. We will remember Kanazawa as one of our favourite stops in Japan.

This was a wonderful day. Our guide, Kayo, was excellent, and pointed out so many things we would have just walked on by without realizing the significance. She was constantly giving us stories and insight into what we were seeing on our tour. Kanazawa is well worth your time, and I highly recommend this tour to get the most out of your visit.
