You might have the chance to meet Master Taku himself in the 11 o'clock class. Enjoy the art of recreating broken pottery into your one and only masterpiece. Take home with you the story you made in Japan. Kintsugi is a delicate technique; you are NOT allowed to bring any personal ceramic pieces to this course. You will use the plates prepared for beginners by the studio. In 2024, Master Taku is awarded with the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon, the honorable commendation given to individuals who have made significant achievements in the fields of science, art, invention, improvement, and creation this year. Not only his talents as an artist, but also the fact that he dedicates a portion of profit to the charity was the big reason for winning this award. Thus, joining and enjoying his workshop, you will paying back to the society!

The studio space was inspiring. Art being created everywhere! The instructor was knowledgeable and had fun with all of us. The class size was just right and we all had enough time to learn, try, and create. The ticket purchase included wearing a traditional creators robe but that wasn't offered when we arrived. I'd recommend wearing something that you aren't afraid to get a bit of gold glitter dust on. So worth it!

Amazing experience, easy to do with instructions from sensei. Get to take home your work. Get photos with ease. We even had a TV crew film us for there upcoming tv show that was crazy! Everyone should try this while they stay as we need to keep these traditions going

It was a little daunting at first, but the instructor was very good. This was an excellent way to experience a piece of Japanese culture.
