Enjoy an easy mountain bike tour through Nopporo Forest Park, a wildlife sanctuary and national forest on Hokkaido. You’ll receive basic instructions from an experienced guide for riding a mostly flat course through breathtaking scenery. Keep an eye out for flowers, woodpeckers, squirrels and deer throughout your 1.5-hour ride, covering a distance of approximately 6 miles (10 km). Round-trip transport is included from Sapporo. Numbers are limited to 10 on this small-group tour, ensuring a personalized experience. Please note: This tour is seasonal and runs yearly between April and October. The date is subject to change.

  • Windbreaker jacket is recommended to bring during spring and fall season
  • The mountain bike course may be changed due to road conditions
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The guide is so nice. This is a good biking experience for beginners. The place is so perfect we could breath in fresh oxygen

This was the highlight of the trip. Jun was a great guide. We chose the easier trail but would be up for a longer ride on our next trip. The forest smelled of pine trees and an amazing flower. Mountain biking allows one to go faster than the bugs so they only land on you when you stop! This trip lasts about three hours including transportation from hotel so there is plenty of time to do other activities on the same day.
