By public transport
- Meeting point must be within Tokyo 23 ward.

Whilst you admire these carvings, you can read what each story is about on placards below, both in English and Japanese. The Japanese garden is around the back of the temple.     Koishikawa Korakuen is one of Tokyo's oldest and best Japanese gardens. It was built in the early Edo Period (1600-1868) at the Tokyo residence of the Mito branch of the ruling Tokugawa family. Koishikawa Korakuen is attractive throughout the year, but is especially so in late November and early December during the fall color season. Dozens of maple trees are planted around the garden's three ponds which turn vibrant shades of orange and red. There is also a small grove of ginkgo trees near the east entrance, which turn a golden yellow during autumn.

Yuri is amazing! She was able to take me everywhere I wanted to go including some bonus locations. She is very knowledgable, an excellent communicator, and has a lot of enthusiasm.

Our guide Miho contacted us several times to be sure of what areas of tokyo we wanted to go to - gardens , off the beaten track & avoid tourist crowds!Then she previewed all the different gardens to see what was in bloom (we missed cherry blossoms)and created an awesome experience with shrines $ gardens filled with expanses of azaleas, peonies,& wisteria! Highly recommend this

Prompt contact by travel rep and all 8 of us were well informed on our tour of Tokyo. We had private vehicle collected from our hotel and dropped us back to our hotel on completion. No issues identified and we were well looked after. We went to Brown Rice veg restaurant some of using chopsticks for the very first time!! We would recommend for first time booking tour of Tokyo.
