Also, you will have a chance to talk to locals and to have a relaxing time in the natural beauty. Lovely half day guided cycling tour in the beautiful countryside of Hida Furakawa. Marino was our very friendly, knowledgeable and informative guide, who as a local was able to answer our every question and show us the countryside around her beautiful home town. The cycling was mostly flat and easy and kept our two 19 year olds interested and engaged. A really nice way to see some real Japan a little off the tourist trail! Highly recommended .

Marino-san gave us an excellent experience cycling around Hida. Learning about the area was really fun, and the views were incredible! From learning about the culture of growing rice to visiting a local market to having a nice mid-morning tea break, we enjoyed every bit. We highly recommend Satoyama Experience and, in particular, Marino-san!
