On this tour we visit both the western and central craters. In the western crater of Sete Cidades we vistit stunning views at 650 meters above sea level on the the rim of the crater. It's a "must" tour if you really want to see all the beauty of S. Miguel. Our guide, Marcio, did an exceptional job of showcasing all the sights and beauty of the Azores. He was personable, knowledgeable and passionate about his love of the island. He enjoyed sharing facts and history with us. This small group tour made for a more personal, informative and fun tour. It truly was a great way to explore and visit hidden gems that you could never see by car. My husband and I highly recommend this tour! Lastly, I want to personally thank Marcio for returning our backpacks to our hotel that we inadvertently left in his jeep!

Die Reise im Jeep ist lange und anstrengend. Für Leute mit Rückenproblemen nicht geeignet. Das Wetter ist wechselhaft und teilweise windig und kalt. Das Mittagessen in einem lokalen Restaurant ist gut.
