⸻ Incredible Jeep Tour with Eduardo – A Must-Do in São Miguel! We had an unforgettable jeep tour with Eduardo to Sete Cidades and beyond, and we can’t recommend it enough! Eduardo was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. Thanks to the jeep’s off-road capabilities, we ventured beyond the usual tourist stops, escaping the crowds and experiencing the Azores in a more authentic way. Our tour started with two other couples who had to return to their cruise ship at midday, while we had the luxury of a full-day experience. The views of Sete Cidades—from a breathtaking bird’s-eye perspective to the serene lake below—were absolutely stunning. We also visited the charming church in Sete Cidades, along with many other hidden gems along the way. After dropping off the cruise passengers, we enjoyed a buffet lunch, made even better by our engaging conversation with Eduardo. He shared fascinating insights into the history, culture, and daily life of the Azores, which added so much depth to our experience. In the afternoon, we continued to Lagoa do Fogo—another breathtaking spot that left us in awe. Eduardo was not only an incredible guide but also went above and beyond by providing fantastic recommendations for meals and other must-see sights for the rest of our trip. My wife and I took The Jeep tour with GreenZone Azores Tours and it’s the only way to explore the island. The 4x4 allowed us to reach places that buses and vans couldn’t, giving us access to incredible views and remote locations. He gave us flexible options based on our activity level, whether we wanted to hike or stay in the Jeep. He planned ahead so we could visit key spots like our lunch stop and a waterfall before the crowds arrived. Daniel went out of his way to help, even calling another tour company we had booked for the next day to confirm our transportation. He recommended great restaurants and even drove us there. He also shared excellent hiking trails and took us to those spots so we could explore on our own later. He was knowledgeable about the island, answered all our questions, and gave us time to explore on our own when needed. He even offered to take pictures and arranged pickups at different locations.
