This itinerary is a Typical itinerary and may vary depending on your departure location (jeju city or Seogwipo city). A professional local driver will guide you to the UNESCO-listed Seongsan Ilchulbong , the coastal walking course Seopjikoji, and beautiful beach and Seongeup Folk Village, managed by Jeju local government, is the only place where you can get a glimpse of Jeju people’s lives. If you want, you can experience wearing Hanbok, a traditional Korean costume, at the folk village. You can watch a performance by Jeju's female divers at Seongsan Ilchulbong every day at 2 PM, and you can get more information at the Jeju Haenyeo Museum.     From Downtown( your accommodation) to Manjanggul Cave 1 hour. This is the World`s largest known Lava Tube created by Volcanic Activity. You can feel the magnificence of the landscape that resembles being inside an underground place. The especially exquisite Stone Turtle that resembles Jeju island is particularly popular. In case of the closing of Manjanggul Lava Tube (The first Wednesday of every month), Jeju Haenyeo Museum will be an alternative tour course.     Jeju Stone Culture Park is a space of history and culture that compiles the stone culture, Seolmundae Halmang myth, and folk culture that have become the roots of Jeju's creation and Jeju human culture. The legend of Seolmundae Halmang, the goddess who created the island of Jeju, and the five generals, is revealed through various stone cultural relics and materials on the 300,000 pyeong wide Gotjawal land. It was created as a space where Jeju residents and tourists can directly encounter and view the lifestyle of Jeju residents through an exhibition space. By taking advantage of Jeju's identity, locality, and artistry, Tamna's formation process, Tamna's mythology, history, and folk culture are revealed. To create the most beautiful educational space by organizing it by era and pass it on to our descendants. This is a belief that the planner of Stone Culture Park has never forgotten for a moment.

  • Seongeup Folk Village, Jeju, South Korea
    The entire village, which preserves the living site of the people of old Jeju, has been designated as an Important Folklore Cultural Heritage. Though it can be considered a folk village of sorts, it differs from regular folk villages in that people still live in it to this day. The village residents act as volunteer guides to offer visitors all sorts of information. The Saw-leaf Zelkova and Japanese hackberry in the center of the village are worth taking time to see. You can experience wearing Hanbok, a traditional Korean costume, at Jeju Folk Village.

  • Seopjikoji, Seogwipo, South Korea
    A short drive from Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak will take you to Cape Seopjikoji. The name comes from the Jeju dialect for a “Cape of Small Land” due to its peculiar cliff formation that protrudes into the ocean. The picturesque harmony of the hill and ocean attract tourists all year round. You might even be able to sight Jeju ponies grazing on the field of grass.Walking northeast along the cliff, you will arrive at Bulgeunoreum Parasitic Cone, offering an exquisite view of a white lighthouse with the dark blue sea in the background. Additional noteworthy attractions of Cape Seopjikoji are the Glasshouse and Yumin Art Gallery, two masterpieces designed by world-renowned architect Ando Tadao. The two buildings blend in remarkably well with the surrounding nature.

  • Seongsan Ilchulbong, Seogwipo, South Korea
    Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, a landmark attraction of Jeju, was formed about 5,000 years ago from an eruption of magma on the ocean floor. It is especially famous as a sunrise viewing spot, known to be one of the top ten exquisite sceneries of Jeju Island.Besides viewing the sunrise, Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone is also known to be an excellent trekking spot. The Seongsan-Ojo Trail connects two villages by crossing the peak. Another popular trail, the Jijil Trail, offers a closer look at the UNESCO-designated geopark as well as Jeju’s local culture. Walking along one of these paths is recommended to really experience the area; walking all the way to the summit offers views of both the vast volcanic crater in the center and the blue ocean surrounding the area. To complete your trip, head to Seongsanpo Port to watch haenyeo (female divers) at work.

  • Haenyeo Museum, Jeju, South Korea
    Jeju haenyeo are the strong mothers of Jeju and the spiritual pillars of Jeju residents. Also, the life of the Jeju haenyeo community is a model that humanity should aim for. Jeju haenyeo formed a merit-based community and democratically decided through discussions. She not only cared for the elderly and infirm, such as Halmang Badang and Geseok, and raised funds with her material profits to contribute to society, such as villages and schools. She also came up with various contraptions to coexist with the sea, such as beach sweeping, gold snatching, and dialysis. Jeju haenyeo culture was recognized for its value and was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on November 30, 2016 (local time).

  • Hamdeok Beach, Jeju, South Korea
    If you walk along Jeju Olle Course 19, you will come across Hamdeok Beach, which has an emerald jewel. Hamdeok Beach, located in Hamdeok-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, is also called ‘Hamdeok Seoubong Beach’ because of Oreum (Seoubong Peak) standing right next to the beach. It is only 20km away from Jeju Airport, but the moment you arrive here, you feel like you are in another country. The tall palm trees that welcome you from the entrance, the emerald sea that contrasts with the white sand, the clear water and white waves that make even the sand and seaweed transparent are like that. Among the numerous beaches in Jeju Island, if you choose three places with the most beautiful sea color, it is definitely Hyeopjae Beach, Gimnyeong Beach, and Hamdeok Beach. The water is clear and the water depth is shallow, so it is also a good summer resort for families. The west side of the beach is connected by an overpass, so you can experience walking on the sea.

We had our tour with Mr. Ko Sung Hyun and it was great. Went to many places and Mr. Ko was a great guide. He was very funny and kind and gave us lots of information of the island. The car was very clean and driving was good. Highly recommend to spend the day in Jeju.

Me. Ko took us to a very nice local restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced. The sights and stops were all breathtaking and showcased the beauty of Jeju island.

Our guide was Ko Sung Hyun and he provided a great day around Jeju Island. He picked us up from our Airbnb right on time. The tour highlighted natural beauty around Jeju Island, and Ko Sung Hyun knew the best spots to take photos! He also endured we all got great photos. He took us to a fantastic and delicious seafood restaurant for lunch. Overall, this tour was an easy and efficient way to see Jeju Island without having to worry about planning or travel. Would highly recommend to any friends coming to the island, and will definitely take a different tour with this company when I return to Jeju!
