Walking up the Masada Snake path was no small feat even though we are hikers and in fairly good shape, but It was well worth the effort! We had a beautiful sunrise. There was enough time to explore the area as well. We had a very good guide, Gavri, from Tourist Israel, who walked up the path and provided excellent commentary. He also accompanied us on the Ein Gedi hike. The drive to the Dead Sea and floating in the water was a good experience as well. Highly recommend this tour!

Il tour operator è poco serio. Ci ha lasciato 70 minuti al freddo di Gerusallemme la mattina alle 3.00 AM, senza assistenza e senza offrirci nemmeno un thè caldo per riscaldarci. Abbiamo prenotato un tour per vedere l'alba dalle rovine di Masada, ma siamo arrivati in ritardo. Al Mar Morto nello stabilimento è indicato chiaramente che il semplice ingresso è di 18 NIS, ma viene preteso di pagamento di 35 NIS, tuffatori. Se provi a chiedere rimborso o far valere le tue ragioni, con calma, il tour operator di definisce razzista. Non sanno gestire il benchè minimo imprevisto. Bus vecchio e sporco e con gomme da masticare attaccate ovunque, disgustoso.
