Judit led a group of 5 for a walk around of the Jewish district on a cloudy rainy day in March. The weather was fitting the topic - although we learned a lot about Jewish life as it progressed through the centuries in Hungary, arriving at the Shoah and today - Judit’s knowledge of all aspects of life is deep and she shared it with a passion. Our stop to taste the flódni, a traditional Jewish Hungarian dessert, was welcome as we criss-crossed the area. This tour is a perfect lead up to visiting the Dohany Street Synagogue on your own on after.
