GENERAL
Your tourguide is a local Dutch Guide (something special in Amsterdam as most guides active in Amsterdam are not dutch) specialized in Jewish history in Amsterdam.
We will tour the Jewish District were we talk about Jews arriving at Amsterdam since the late 16th century. Further we highlight the Anne Frank story and the Holocaust.
This tour is a great add on in case you already had Anne Frank House tickets or a great alternative if you were unable to buy Anne Frank House tickets.
For our 2 hour walking tour focus will be on WW 2 and the holocaust that affected Amsterdam's Jewish community traumatically. A visit to the Anne Frank House museum is NOT included. Next to Anne Frank and her family many other aspects of daily Jewish and general life during the war will be highlighted. How could things go more wrong in Amsterdam compared to other West-European countries? Who dared to stand up for Amsterdam's Jewish community? How could you escape your fate?
Hope to see you soon!

Tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. But wasn’t much to see for three hours. Could have seen it in two or less hours.
