Highlight of the experience was the staff. Added the Soweto extension and the highlight was that our guide was from there and could share their perspective. Another highlight was the Apartheid Museum. Downsides were 2: we were staying in Sandton and put off booking tickets until the night before. Unfortunately, at that time, the hotel shuttle was no longer available. Also, the one hour delay between buses wasn’t optimal for timing. Some stops needed less time and some we could have used more, without waiting an entire additional hour.

Great experience and a great way to see Jo’burg when we only had a 30 hours stay. Route was well thought out. Staff pleasant and helpful.

The bus was as advertised and provided access to landmarks and areas of Joburg while providing a commentary of the city's geography and history. The Red Bus failed to stop for an adequate time at all stops for everyone to disembark (Mining District) and failed to stop at all at two indicated stops (Newtown and Bramfontein Square).
