This tour to the Apartheid Museum and to Soweto township is a must when in Johannesburg. A group of tourists cannot easily plan the Soweto part of the trip, so it is an excellent idea to book it and have a tour guide accompany you. Solly, our guide, was very punctual, he explained many different things about apartheid, Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Winnie Mandela etc. He is an accredited guide, a very reliable and organized person. He thought about all details (when to stop for pictures, when to stop for historical details, when to stop for lunch etc.). It would be such a pity to travel to Johannesburg without visiting Soweto and the Apartheid Museum! Thus tour is an excellent choice.
