Our guided tour will take you through Diepkloof Extension,hostels, Baragwamath hospital and Orlando Towers on our way to Hector Pieterson Museum.At Hector Pieterson museum you learn about Soweto student Uprisings in 1976 and the struggle against inequalities in South Africa. The tour proceed to the popular tourist attraction Vilakazi street where Mandela house is situated. We give you an opportunity to do the tour of this house in order to learn more about the statesman. The flea market in Vilakazi street has African clothing,Artefacts and Curios guests can browse.

    The guided tour will take you through Diepkloof Extension; we stop to view and to share information about the family units project at Diepkloof hostels. We pass Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital the third largest hospital in the world after the two largest hospitals in China. We stop at Orlando towers the distinctive landmark in the neighborhoods of Soweto to take pictures. The towers were cooling towers for the coal run power station supplying electricity to Johannesburg. The station was closed in 1998, and transformed into,sporting,entertainment and business center in 2008. The towers are used by businesses to advertise their products. Branding not permanent.

Seeing the reality of people’s lives. It opened my eyes on the hardship still continuing in Seweto. The Mandela house was fascinating to see as was the museum that showed the horror of 1976 The lady that showed me around had the knowledge to share the experience

Very good experience. The driver was very kind and accommodating. Although it was raining heavily that day, the driver was able to show us many areas.
