This tour starts at your hotel and then we'll head to the city center of Johannesburg.
We will visit Constitution Hill where we will appreciate the Constitutional Court building whose design is unique in the world. This building is built on the site and with the bricks of an old prison where Gandhi and Mandela were imprisoned.
We will visit the Apartheid Museum, known as the "Essence of the Nation". Its walls represent the tragedy, destruction, brutality and the struggle of a people for democracy.
Later we will go to Soweto, passing first by the football stadium, site of the 2010 World Cup.
Once in Soweto, we will walk through its streets immersing ourselves in the events of 1976 that influenced the struggle for freedom, and we will walk in the footsteps of the Father of the Nation, Nelson Mandela. We will go through Vilakazi street where we will visit the house where he and his family lived.
Then we will visit Nelson Mandela Square.

The Museum opened in 2001 and is recognized as the world's foremost museum dealing with 20th century South Africa, at the core of which is the history of apartheid. 90 minutes
FNB Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa Designed as the main association football stadium for the World Cup, the FNB Stadium became the largest stadium in Africa with a capacity of 94,736. The stadium is also known by the nickname "The Gourd" due to its resemblance to the African pot gourd.
It was the site of Nelson Mandela's first speech in Johannesburg after his release from prison in 1990, and was also the venue for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final, which was contested by the Netherlands and Spain.

Irma knows everything so deeply and she makes sure you miss nothing at all. She planned everything so well for us. And you can tell when someone is as invested in you having a good time, which Irma completely was. I would recommend using their service instead of planning on your own because they really are extremely insightful.

Hicimos este tour hace unos días y la verdad fue genial. La Guía Irma es muy profesional y está muy preparada en cuanto a reseñas históricas y datos. Nos hizo un recorrido por diversos años e historia de esta ciudad y sus lugares más representativos. Recomiendo hacer el circuito a todos los turistas que optamos por un guía en español. La ciudad a pesar de tener algo de mala fama para nada es peligrosa y tiene lugares interesantes que visitar...

La mejor decisión. Nos encantó conocer Johannesburgo de la mano de Irma. Sin duda, es la mejor manera de explorar la ciudad y ver sus contrastes. Merece la pena dedicar un dia a conocer JB, y sin duda recomendaria hacerlo con esta excursion privada. El precio es elevado pero sin duda volveria a repetir. Irma sabe mucho y lo cuenta todo con pasión. Muy muy recomendable.
