The Lion & Safari Park is located in the historic Cradle of Humankind, about a 30-45-minute from the city and the ideal private tour from Johannesburg. It is a protected conservation area with over 80 lions, including the famous white lions. It also has cheetah, hyena, wild dogs, various antelope, and tower of tame giraffe. The Lion and Safari Park, which relocated to the Cradle of Humankind in July 2016, provides guests with an unforgettable experience. Animal interactions, guided game drives, and self-drives are among the many exciting activities available at the new park. When you take this private informative guided tour, you will get up close and personal with some of Africa’s most beloved animals. You will be collected in a private closed vehicle by a private driver and guide from any accommodation address in Johannesburg.

Collecting time for a private half day morning tour will be between 08:00 and 09:00 and drop off between 12:30 and 13:00. For a private half day afternoon tour you will be collected between 13:00 and 13h:30 and dropped off between 17:00 and 17:30.

    The park is home to more than 85 lions and other carnivores like the cheetah, hyena and wild dog. Lion Park is home to the rare white lion, so make sure you bring your camera for some exclusive shots. At Cub World you can observe baby lions, how cute is that? And when you are not frightened by tall animals with long necks, you can also feed the giraffes and ostriches!

Fun, engaging and exciting tour to see the lions at Lion Park. We got picked up at our hotel on time. The tour guide was very friendly and told us a lot of history about Johannesburg as we drove through certain areas. As we arrived at the Lion Park we were handed over to the park rangers who did the hour Safari drive with us. We had a great experience thanks MoAfrika Tours.

Very beautiful animals. Interesting and funny stories told by guide. You can see lions from short distances, which is cool. It's absolutely worth visiting!

As an American visiting South Africa for the first time, I absolutely loved it. The safari tour hosts were organized and supremely professional. Our individual guide knew every detail of each animal group and he was a delightful person.
