Thabang is a absolute inspiration, he was born in Soweto and still lives there today. He shares not only a unique experience in the places he takes you to visit, but his own personal journey which brings alive the history and journey of the people of this part of South Africa. A real insight to the area, avoid all the other “tourist” trips, Thabang will help you see the true identity and people of Soweto.

Great insightful tour to see SoWeto. One of the best tours we did to get a glimpse of the different layers of society in SA today. Our guide was great, informal but informative at the same time. We 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Joburg.

If you are at all interested in understanding the history and present day living in South Africa, this is a must. Thabang, our guide, was raised in Soweto and still lives in Soweto. He was great about sharing his experience and helping us truly understand how Soweto became the Sowero of today. Thabang was so open and honest. He wanted to make sure that we came out of this experience with a true grasp of how things were and how they are today. We were able to visit all areas fo Soweto, even the shanty area where we walked down the roads, visited with locals and asked questions. Please, take the time to visit. The culture is rich. The community is strong and we have to continue to educate.
