This small group two day tour gives you the time to take in the impressive Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, the Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. You’ll hike on the Falljökull glacier, getting unbeatable views of the ice fall. You’ll be mesmerised by the giant icebergs floating around the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, as well as the large crystals of ice washed up on the nearby Diamond Beach. You get to explore the moss covered Eldhraun lava fields and incredible Fjaðrárgljúfur gorge. Outside of months with midnight sun there’s a chance you’ll even be able to see the Northern Lights dancing across the sky. This tour includes accommodation and delicious buffet breakfast at the modern Lilja Guesthouse (or equivalent), which has spacious rooms and private bathrooms. Pickups start at 08:30am. Please be at your designated pick up point at this time. We pick up from the designated tourist bus pick up points in downtown Reykjavik, and certain hotels where it is permissible to drive a mini bus and pick up from. If you are in downtown Reykjavik we will likely need to use one of these pick up points. If you cannot see your hotel in the list then please choose from one of the designated meeting points (bus stops) in central Reykjavik.

This 2 day trip has without a doubt been a highlight of our trip to Iceland. Our wonderful guide Björn not only covered everything planned, but shared even more beautiful, hidden spots in Iceland with us; we were often the only people there. Despite doing so much, we never felt rushed. Björn was an absolute wealth of information, not only on the sites we visited, but on so many aspects of Icelandic culture and history. All information was conveyed with excellent humour and an infectious enthusiasm for his country. Whilst every site we visited was amazing in its own way, it was the little, considerate details that ran through this tour from beginning to end that set the scene to truly relax and enjoy them. We came to Iceland with nothing booked, and were a bit overwhelmed by the choice online. Popping into Hidden Iceland's office near the harbour and having a chat with Joe was a really helpful thing to do. Thank you so much to the Hidden Iceland team!

We did the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon & Ice Cave in March 2023 and it was amazing! The tour was very well organized, comfortable and a memorable experience. It was a good size, there were 10 people in our group and the bus was always warm and comfortable. We visited so many beautiful places and got to see how beautiful Iceland is. Robert was the perfect guide, very informative and funny. It's great to have a guide who loves the country and mountains & glaciers as it made the tour more authentic. I would definitely go on another tour with Hidden Iceland the next time I visit!

I wanted to avoid a large group tour bus trip and Hidden Iceland provided exactly what I was looking for. The two days were well planned and very enjoyable. Our guide Max was thoughtful, knowledgeable and really looked after us. He provided lots of interesting facts about the places we were visiting and kept us updated throughout. I couldn't fault this tour and would happily book with Hidden Iceland when I next visit Iceland.
