3 Days gorilla trekking Safari tour in Uganda

We had one of the best vacations ever with Dav Safaris. We saw a lot of Rwanda and visited a lot of places in Uganda. Our guide Benjamin took great care of us whenever we asked along the way, stopped for a photo, or found the post office with us or got the flags we collect. Nothing was a problem, before the trip we received an itinerary where we could choose accommodation. There was no problem with vegan food either. Thank you for great experiences, beautiful nature, friendly people, game drives, Bisoke hike, lake Bunyonyi chill, golden monkeys and, of course, the biggest highlight, the mountain gorillas. We will also never forget the very sad visit to the genocide memorial in Kigali. It was a very powerful touch that everyone should experience. Thanks for everything.

Just returned from my trip to Uganda ???????? Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, safaris in the National Parks, waterfalls, boat trips & spending time in the villages with the children was epic! I went solo, just me & my guide except when trekking they group you with 7 others. I booked through Dav Safaris & my guide was Michael! Outstanding 5* company and I can’t say enough about my guide. He was beyond fabulous! Reagan, the owner answered all my questions promptly and made sure my trip ran smoothly. Accommodations were mid range and all lovely, service and food superb! This was my 7th continent and now my favorite trip! I didn’t think anything could compare to Antarctica but this did. Highly recommend this company & Michael as your guide.

We travelled with Dav Safaris for our 14-day trip in Uganda. Their website is what attracted us to the company originally, and Reagan, the owner, was incredibly responsive via email and answered all the questions we had and helped put our minds at ease. We were able to select which lodges and hotels we wanted to stay at and Reagan accommodated our requests for adjustments and even managed to squeeze in a final Mabamba Wetlands tour, when we didn't think we would have time. We were then greeted at the airport by Reagan himself and our guide for the 14 days, Arafat. It was time for our experience to begin! We spent an amazing 14 days travelling around Uganda, visiting the local communities, going on game drives and of course, trekking to see the Chimpanzees and the Mountain Gorillas. Words and pictures can not describe how amazing the whole experience was and it felt even better knowing we were helping to support the local people. Our guide Arafat, really cared about the people and animals he was showing us and the level of knowledge he has is unbelievable! He really is a walking encyclopedia! He also had alot of contacts within Uganda, which meant he was updated with big ticket animal sightings, an example of this being the tree climbing lions. The car was comfy and his driving was very safe, despite that not being the case for all the Ugandan drivers! We can't thank Arafat and Reagan enough for providing us with the greatest 2 weeks of our lives and would highly recommend Dav Safaris for any trip in Uganda. Hopefully, one day, we can return and relive the memories again.
