On our 1-day tour you will ride on our privately organized bus from Shinjuku in Tokyo right up and around this great mountain and the beautiful natural spots that have arisen from it. With a theme based around Mt. Fuji’s effect on nature in the area, this tour will not only provide you with breath taking views and scenery of Mt. Fuji but allow you to dive directly into this famous mountain’s history. You will also have the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture related to Mt. Fuji and visit a Japanese Shinto shrine where your friendly guide will teach you about Japanese religions and the role of Shinto shrines. Also look forward to visiting and exploring around an ice cave that developed after a Mt. Fuji eruption over a 1000 years ago! We'll also take you to walk around the World Heritage site of Shiraito Falls and also Otodome Falls, where the negative ions will refresh and revitalize you!

After enjoying the beautiful atmosphere of this traditional Japanese folk village and it's surrounding natural water springs, it's time for lunch!

This was probably my top experience during my stay here in Japan. Starting with a beautiful drive through the country side of Japan and amazing views of the mountain as you get closer. Once you reach the parking lot it's a short hike up to some incredible shrines and panoramic view points. Then heading to a small village with 8 beautiful ponds with water so blue it almost doesn't look real. All sorts of small vendors for sor souvenirs and local food. After that we headed to a large and beautiful lake for lunch and preparing for the next leg of the journey. The ice caves !! Oh man the ice caves ! Absolutely incredible experience. Reminded very much of the ape caves back home in Oregon. They are created by old lava tubes that go farily deep underground and maintain a temp of about 0°c allowing icecicles year around so bring a jacket for this one. The last leg of the tour really just takes your breath away and completely wraps the whole experience up with a cherry on top. The waterfalls ! I was completely speachless upon first glance from the upper viewing deck! You walk down a short trail and end up right next to the falls! Each location seems to outdo the last while not taking anything away from each other. All being equally incredible! Oh I almost forgot there was wine tasting somewhere along the way as well!! Just so much that comes with this package! Tommy our guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! I should know, as I'm a tour guide in the United States! 10 out of 10 would absolutely do this again!

The trip was really fun and interesting. The places we visited (like an ice cave, old village with 8 ponds and more, sorry I forgot the names) are not very far away from each other so you don’t spend too much time in the car. Also you get to hear quite a lot of informations to each place and Mt. Fuji in general which is very nice. Also each place offers a variety of things to do and to see. There’s no reason to hurry so you can enjoy and experience each location the way you want, try lots of local food, buy souvenirs or just make photos of beautiful Fuji San from a variety of different angles of view. Long story short: A beautiful and interesting trip. You should definitely be thinking about to visit.

I highly recommend this trip, even if you have been to Mt.Fuji before. The tour guides were fun to be around and guided us through some amazing places. The amount of locations included in the tour was fantastic. It was a full day of beautiful views of Mt.Fuji from all different types of landscapes.
