The "private excursion" is misleading. We were told to exit the cruise terminal and go to the first blue building we saw, which we did and its not even the right tour company. There were men standing outside the building off to the side but they were all scrambling around not holding signs or anything so we had no indication they were the drivers. We finally found our driver and he had to go get a car somewhere and left. He came back with a car 20 mins later and said we had to wait for other people.....even though he was our driver and our car was there....We didn't leave until 30-35 mins after our tour was suppose to start. They were waiting for other "private tours" to be ready so they could all go together. So while we were in a "private" car this is not a private excursion. We were constantly waiting on other tours to be done so we could all drive to the same place together. Essentially a group tour in separate cars. For example, Olympia was very hot so our driver said he could come get us down at the shops if it got too hot in the museum. We called him at the agreed pickup time to come get us and he said we would have to wait because the other groups were not ready yet. Mind you it was over 100 degrees so we were just standing on the side of the road for 45 mins waiting for him to come. We then went to the honey farm which was a nice time but we were not informed that there was an entrance fee (nowhere on the website does it say we had to pay to go in). Again we were done here and had to wait for other parties to be finished to move on. We then went to the wine tasting and the tour guides all said we were all part of the same group, which we were not. They were going to seat us all the same table because even the wine people assumed we were a small group tour. We again had to wait for everyone else to be done to leave even though WE ALL HAD PRIVATE CARS. This is NOT a private tour. We spent most our day waiting around for other people which is the exact reason we did not book a group tour. We booked private tours for all our other ports and we did not have this experience...... Would like partial $ back....

Excellent private tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a fantastic day in Olympia. We learnt about history at Ancient Olympia but we also loved the bee farm and winery where shoped great stuff. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide - he was great and spoke excellent English. Time and money well invested.
