This tour will lead you to the  cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu which are listed in UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the bank of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, where you can also witness the cremation at the bank of the river. You will visit another heritage site "Boudhanath" which is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outside of Kathmandu.  Anther important cultural heritage site is Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple), which is an ancient religious complex  in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city; also known as the Monkey The last but not least you will visit another heritage site "Kathmandu Durbar Square" which is surrounded with architecture and old culture showcases the skills of the artists and craftsmen over several centuries.

My partner Apollo and I would like to thank our tour guide, Pabitra Tamang, for a wonderful tour across some of the most stunning locations in Kathmandu. She explained in great detail the cultural and historical significance behind every location we went to - always pointing out something fascinating that was not immediately obvious to the eye. We visited renowned world heritage sites, had spiritually enlightening tours of Hindu and Buddhist temples, received a blessing from a Kumari (the living goddess), witnessed traditional ceremonies and ate at delicious restaurants. Despite such a busy day, Pabitra was always upbeat, lively, and made sure we were entertained and thoroughly informed. The vast swathes of information for each site can be complex to comprehend, but Pabitra relayed information in such an entertaining way that kept us engaged and highly interested throughout the day. We retained all the knowledge Pabitra imparted on us to this day! Thank you beautiful Pabitra for a marvellous tour! You truly helped us experience the authentic Nepal that is brimming with vibrancy, character, and joy. xxx We were also impressed by the driver, navigating the chaotic Kathmandu traffic effortlessly. The car was very clean too. x PS: I have attached a picture where we took a photo with a viral Nepalese TikTok star! The little girl came up to us and offered free gifts! :D

We booked this tour with Everest Flight. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was no guide on the tour and we had to pay an entrance fee per temple. So it was more of a taxi charter than a sightseeing tour. (If possible, I would have liked an explanation in advance, and I think that this only charter plan is a bit expensive.) However, we enjoyed ! the owner can speak Japanese and kind. He arranged a taxi for us back to the airport. thank you so much! !
