Considered one of the best treks in Nepal, the circular trek around Manaslu is a less busy alternative to the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek. Hiking from the steamy terrace fields of rice in the lowlands to the snowbound Larkya La Pass near the Tibetan border is a physically challenging trek. Being remote, rich in local culture, and stunning scenery, we think it’s worth it. Some of the highlights include the Budi Gandaki River gorge, where icy turquoise water flows over waterfalls and under suspension bridges. And the 5,167m Larkya La pass, where crampons may be needed. From the pass, stupendous views lay behind and ahead – including a great glacial cirque and Annapurna II towering above other mountains. This remote area still has a pioneering expedition feel, much different from the more trekked routes. If you like more isolation and less trekkers on the trail, inexplicable natural beauty, and are physically fit, this trek is worth exploring.

Thanks Pradeep, Dilman and Narain for the great experience on the Manaslu trip! Making choices for your trekking trip in Nepal can feel like a fuzzy ride as options and trekking companies are multiple. However, you can make your life simple by just choosing Magical Nepal. They are professional, responsive and charming and organise to your wishes. They have a smooth and transparant booking proces and can be reached (whatsapp, call, live) for any questions you have. On the track Dilman (guide) and Narain (porter) make sure your trip will be a good one. They know the area and people very well and are professionals. The daily fresh fruit after diner is a real treat. Especcially when getting higher up and fresh product get scarcer. Our trip, unfortunately, had to be changed along the way as I suffered some altitude sickness from 3500m and higher, but making the necessary adaptations went smooth and Pradeep and Dilman organised smoothly. Thanks!

Pradeep provided exceptional service on all aspects of this trip that went far beyond what I expected. He was responsive to my inquiries in the pretrip planning and provided service even before my trip with his agency started. He did a pre trip briefing at my hotel and had a guide pick me up at the start of the trip. The guide was an excellent, caring person. Unfortunately I became sick and had to return after the first day of the trek. He made arrangements ahead of time for me to go to an international hospital. I was admitted on an emergency basis and stayed for five days, during which time he visited me. Once I was out he gave me a generous refund for the part of the trek I missed. He was genuinely interested in my welfare. As well, the initial price he gave for the trip was substantially better than other companies. I wholehearted recommend Magic Nepal in every way.

Magical Nepal proved to be very efficient and well organised. Thanks to Narayan and the two sherpas, Arius and Lolly, we managed the circuit without issues. Narayan you are the best, we met you as a guide a left behind a friend.
