I, in the capacity of a three-person organising team, along with the other thirteen members had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to embark on a 22-day 'after-monsoon' Everest Base Camp and Three Pass Trek over the most stunning crystal-clear sunny days of 21 November - 12 December 2022. After a long online 'review shopping' of travel and tour guide companies in Nepal plus going through a plethora of recommendations from acquaintances who did numerous high-altitude treks in Nepal before with Mr Saroj's company, our organising team also finally decided to opt for the guide and tour support from Mr Saroj's company - Nepal Promote Treks and Expedition.
Mr Saroj and his team's hospitality, care, wealth of experience, knowledge, skills, sound administration, risk management, emergency evacuation planning and preparation, ability to understand even the minute needs of the individual trekking members along with a plethora of other aspects that are required in leading and managing a bigger expedition team like ours were of the highest quality and standard. Mr Saroj's guides were very knowledgeable about the local Sherpa culture, flora and fauna and all the mountain peaks in and around the trekking route.
Mr Saroj and his team had an in-depth knowledge of good Tea Houses with quality foods along the entire trekking route. Moreover, Mr Saroj and his team were the finest human beings in terms of the quality of care and services they provided to our entire team. They were extremely caring, responsive and always wanted to know if anything they could do or provide to the trekking members in pursuit of improving the quality of care and services to the expedition members and hence giving them a very long-lasting excellent trekking experience. For example, Mr Saroj and his team constantly reminded the expedition team at every opportunity of the trekking route to keeping the chest area and head covered to keep the heart and brain warm and the importance of diet and hydration to the body system to not get severely affected or suffered from acute mountain sickness.
Mr Saroj's guide for the cultural visits in and around Kathmandu and Pokhara was of the highest quality in terms of the depth of knowledge he had, the way he presented (it was very effective and to the point) historical information and annals about the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and his excellent command of speaking English.
If I organise any adventures in Nepal again, my first choice of trekking company in Nepal will undoubtedly be Mr Saroj's Nepal Promote Treks and Expedition. Having had the lived experience first-hand with Mr Saroj and his incredible team (Hom, Ananta and Santosh) along the entire trekking route plus the cultural visits in Kathmandu and Pokhara, I cannot recommend enough Mr Saroj's great company to anyone in the world who are planning to go to Nepal for treks and expeditions and experience the majesty of the mighty Himalayas along with a plethora of other adventures. The driving itself is an epic adventure in Nepal following the natural meandering paths of great rivers as well as playing hide and seek amongst the green lush sub-tropical forests that the roads and highways traverse through.
I cannot thank Mr Saroj and his finest team enough for everything that he and his team did for our 14-member expedition team during our amazing trek in Nepal and I hope to see him and his incredible team again in the not-so-long distant future.
A behemoth vote of thanks to Mr Saroj and his team.
