Navigating the street food culture of Kathmandu can be quite an adventure for most and all that is taken care of on this tour ! Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Kathmandu with a lovely evening where you will explore the local Nepali cuisine with me at places most loved by locals. Tingle your taste buds with Nepali flavors at hole in the wall eateries and experience the real taste that locals eat regularly. We will begin our food tour at the old market of Indrachowk, moving on to the Kathmandu Durbar Square area that is ever so rich in culture. One thing to note is that 3 items on the tour will be Indian snacks as they're widely consumed and loved by locals here. After hosting food tours by myself for a while, I have now started working with the young people of the city! Every guide in my tour is well trained, a local of the city and of course a food enthusiast ! It will be either me or one of my team members taking you around for the tour.

This was an excellent tour! Our guide, Dhuksang, was so friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the neighbourhoods surrounding Thamel and about all of the hidden spots to go. We went to 5 different places, trying both sweet and savoury snacks and drinks, and had a lovely time. Never would have found these spots on my own, nor tried the dishes! Had a small group of 4 of us, and apparently the max is 6 which is great that they don't go over that. Highly recommend!

It was a great experience, and highly recommended. Our guide, Dhuksang, made the tour even more delightful. We went to five eateries where there were no tourists, only locals, and enjoyed typical Nepalese dishes in a Nepalese atmosphere. We tried sweet and savory plates and a typical drink. Our great guide explained each preparation in detail, also telling us the history of the preparation. I am a vegetarian and had no problems whatsoever. Thank you very much! ????

A delicious experience. I got to try many Nepalese dishes I would never have even known about before. Also saw a different side of Kathmandu and learnt about the culture and history if their favourire foods.
