No one imagines that so close from the city center there are so many beauties. Mangroves, islands, solitary beaches, wildlife , and more.... We'll begin with a short briefing and paddling instruction for afterwards heading towards the mangroves. we'll pass by two solitary islands with lots of wild life, birds etc... our first stop will be at Paradise beach an isolated beach with spectacular views and then... the mangroves, crossing them through a natural tunnel that gives us a feeling of tunnel time crossing, finishing into corumbê bay another + spectacular place. ATTENTION !!! This tour is designed for people who are not sedentary and who practice sports Maximum duration: 3 hours 30 minutes, paddling time: 120 minutes, one stop, Intense physical effort. WHAT TO BRING: Sunscreen, repellent, sportswear, bathing suit, cap, sunglasses and water. For those who want to take personal items, we recommend a waterproof bag and a waterproof cell phone cover. in rainy weather, raincoat.

    After a brief instruction, we will leave from Pontal beach towards Paradise beach and Jabaquara mangroves; soon after we will enter the mangroves at Itú island and Várzea do Corumbê. The itinerary is full of beauty, lonely beaches, islands and the last mangroves of Paraty (nature reserve) A whole adventure, the silence, the animals, crossing the mangrove feeling that we are passing through a time tunnel that will take us to an unknown and wonderful place. The whole journey is incredible . Just by lying on kayak do nothing already a good day , together with the warm sea water, bit work out , and amazingly kind ‘coach’ and company form the group , all made a superb morning . Our lady guide ( sorry forget her name ) explain things to us well , point the bird and crab , take picture for us . But what I like the most is her enthusiasm about nature and life . She doesn’t see it as a job. She only see it as a fun day out . Kayak paraty is a kind group of people , happy to do again with them .

We had a lovely time paddling across the open water, with a stop on the way to check out the view from a pier, then on to the mangroves to cruise along looking for red, black & the large yellow crabs. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Remember to take mosquito repellent for the midges in the mangroves. We finished and shared a beer or two on the beach which caped off the day nicely.
