This trip is best suited for folks who want longer hours of paddling and portaging, more solitude and remote campsites.
Escape to Kejimkujik’s real solitude— in the southern lakes! Some of the national park’s finest campsites are tucked away amongst these hinterland lakes, where it’s entirely common to not see another paddler for the entire canoe trip. Sandy beaches and warm summertime swimming will relax you while slow sunsets and June fireflies create the backdrop for lifelong memories.

4 years in a row of awesome staff (friendly, helpful, polite, well trained), great rental products, and everything is always ready to go as soon as we arrive.

This trip was amazing. We have 2 younger kids who loved learning to canoe, picked up some great skills from our excellent guide, Carlene. We saw lots of wildlife, enjoyed the serene peaceful lakes, ate wonderful food and went to bed listening to the cacophony of nightlife which was super special. The trip was great, our guide was great, I couldn’t be happier the the trip overall and would rate it as a “Must do” for any visiting Nova Scotia.

Cody and Karlene were amazing at accomodating our last minute changes and requests and gave us good advice regarding campsites and things to look out for. The canoes were clean and sturdy but not too heavy- exactly what we needed! Their shop is awesome and everything you need is there, available with a smile :) I'll keep coming back until one day I decide to splurge and get my own canoe
