At class you will receive expert tuition on the art of cooking traditional Thai cuisine. You will practice the skills I learnt from an early age cooking with Mama. We will learn all about the many ingredients used in Thai cooking whilst touring a local market. This is followed by hands on experience creating your own Thai dishes. You may find Thai cooking easier than you think and you will have a lot of fun learning. You will also receive detailed recipes of everything learnt during class. I can easily accommodate vegans and vegetarians and cater for people with food allergies. Single travellers, couples, groups and families with children are all welcome.

Wir hatten einen tollen Nachmittag an dem wir verschiedene Gerichte (die wir uns aussuchen durften) gekocht haben, lecker gegessen haben und viel lernen durften. Wir haben einen tollen Eindruck von der Thai-Küche erhalten und hatten viel Spaß! Apple hat sich viel Zeit genommen und ist super lieb! Daher auch verdiente 5 Sterne! Können wir nur jedem weiter Empfehlen.

Wir wurden pünktlich von Apple im Hotel abgeholt. Zusammen mit 5 weiteren Teilnehmern ging es per Pritschenwagen auf einen lokalen Markt. Hier wurde uns viel gezeigt und auch erklärt. Fragen waren erwünscht und konnten zur Zufriedenheit beantwortet werden. Einige Kuriositäten kamen mit ins Einkaufskörbchen wie z.B. ein schwarzes Ei. Danach ging es in die Kochschule. Es waren schon die Zutaten unseres gewählten Gerichts zusammengestellt und so ging es an die Schnippelei so wie Apple es uns erklärt hatte. Danach ging es ans Kochen. Jeder Teilnehmer kochte sein ausgesuchtes Gericht und die anderen konnten zusehen und auch lernen, wie man dieses Gericht zubereitet. Da jeder ein anderes Gericht ausgewählt hatte wurde es auch nicht langweilig. Wir haben alle zusammen gegessen und jeder konnte jedes Gericht probieren. Das gekochte schmeckte köstlich. Ein sehr gelungener Kochkurs, bei dem wir inspiriert wurden und auch viel gelacht und gelernt haben. Wir können diesen Workshop gerne empfehlen. Apple ist sehr sympathisch und authentisch.

I had a fantastic time at this cooking class. Apple is a warm and engaging host with lots of knowledge and enthusiasm. We cooked a variety of delicious dishes and I picked up lots of good tips on how to cook authentic Thai meals using all local ingredients. It was also very nice to get a tour around a local market before cooking. Everything was well timed and organised and I met some really friendly people from around the world. Drop off and pick up made it very convenient too. Highly recommended!!
