Kigali City Tour was one of the greatest experience we ever had in our life. Kigali the Greenest and Cleanness City to live in. The hospitality of the habitants was amazing.

If you're visiting Rwanda, I highly recommend booking your travels with Rwanda Eco Company and Safaris. They offer everything from the world famous gorilla treks to local cultural tours. Everyone we met on the team went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible visit. It was so helpful to have a local expert there with us in Rwanda to help navigate the current covid travel restrictions and allow us to maximize our time in this amazing country!
Rwanda Eco Company and Safaris excel in customizing their tours to your preferences. We didn't have a whole lot of time in Rwanda, but the company made sure that we were able to experience everything we wanted and then some! Reginal, the founder of Rwanda Eco Companies and Safaris, was one of the reasons we decided to book with the company. His passion for Rwanda and for his care for visitors was clear from our very first communication with him. We are sad we had limited time in Rwanda but are so thankful for the amazing time we had with Rwanda Eco Company and Safaris, and we hope to be back to visit soon!

we contacted reginal at rwanda eco for a tour to see gorillas in rwanda. its a little expensive only because the government fee to enter the park $1500 per person. But, i think finding the gorillas is pretty much a sure thing, as compared to Uganda or the congo. Reginal's fee was VERY reasonable. we requested 3 star accommodations, but he can schedule anything you request up to 5 star. our lodges were clean, quiet and all quite nice. I think a very good value for the money.
He advised that we do a private vehicle and driver. That was good advise. its not a lot more money, and much nicer not to be crammed into a crowded jeep with people you don't know. our driver, Cipriano, was the best. Knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everything all worked out.
DO NOT even try to drive yourself. traffic in Kigali is REALLY bad and very hectic. roads are good, but poorly marked. the last mile was rough, unmarked dirt roads. 4 wheel drive required.
Theres not much in Kigali except for the Genocide Museum, and that's a little depressing. I would not make any effort to tour the city. Just very busy, noisy, and lots of vehicle fumes. spend your time seeing the animals and the countryside.
If i go again, I would not even both to shop. I will just go straight tor wand eco and deal with Reginal
