The tour includes full bus transfers (in the morning and return in the afternoon) and a boat journey through the three Lakes of Killarney (approximately 90 minutes in length). Please note the Jaunting cart price is not included in this tour. The journey through the Gap of Dunloe (approximately 7mile/11km) takes the Jaunting cart's approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to make the journey. Please Note - The Jaunting Cars are a separate business to Gap of Dunloe Tours and are an additional cost to the tour price. You pay the Ponymen direct for the Jaunting Car journey. The charge is €120 per jaunting cart, and the cart carries a maximum of 4 people. Please bring cash to pay the Ponymen.

The cost for the jaunting cart is €100, with max 4 people to a cart and this is paid directly to the driver in cash. This price is increasing to €120 for the 2023 season. Jaunting Cars can be hired at Kate Kearney's Cottage or Lord Brandon's Cottage.

The scenery on this tour is outstanding! Really enjoyed the boat trip and the jaunty carts. An improvement that could be made is more explanation surrounding the day’s activities - where is the boat dock? Where do you catch the Jaunty Carts? What is Lord Brandon’s cottage? We felt we were always asking questions about what’s next? An informative explanation at the beginning of the tour would have helped a lot. Also, the timing for arriving at Ross Castle did not allow time for us to take the tour through the inside. Again, everyone was friendly and the views are unmatched - just would have liked a little more direction and maybe more historical explanation of the area.

We have received whatever was promised as per the trip details. He also dropped me at the B&B after the trip. He is local & the boat driver was also very nice. He was also fishing during out trip which we liked. It was bad weather but the boat person really took care of us. Overall a great experience. Only thing is to mention that they used a different car than the traditional one pictured on the website - but this is not a big deal anyways. I would recommend this tour.

It was all great, but I really liked the jaunting cart. What lovely scenery! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. A great way to see the country side and to spend a day.
