Renting kimono in Kyoto can be a fun and memorable experience. Lockers for your belongings, 8 hours of rental, free hair styling(simple style), various choices of kanzashi and hairpins, plus size kimono and more. ***In winter season, we recommend you to wear a scarf, thin thermal shirt and leggings to keep you warm (Tights is not suitable for Japanese footwear "zori"). You can rental warm clothes with additional fee at MAIKOYA.

Beautiful kimonos for adults and children . Also, very kind service from everyone. Little off from all main attractions but worth the trip

We rented Kimono for a trip around Kyoto for some sightseeing at temples and shrines. The whole process was very professional and simple. Super easy and no fuss. Outfits were very pretty and hairstyle for female was good. Would definitely recommended coming to MAIKOYA for kimono rental if it’s your first time in Kyoto.
