Our guide picked us up at the cruise port right on time. I was amazed at the history of this beautiful town. So many changes over the last 100 years. It is a charming town and very walkable. She took us through various parts of town, explaining historical facts and cultural aspects of each area. We walked along the beautiful river-front area and ended at the Amber Museum. I was very pleasantly surprised by this museum. It has some stunning displays and is well worth the trip. We really enjoyed the relaxed nature of this tour and the great conversations with the guide. I highly recommend it.

“Joy” was a charming companion as we toured Klapedia together. I enjoyed her company and her willingness to share a glimpse of Lithuanian life. The amber museum was an extra bonus and a great stop.
