    Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park Visitor Center The National Historic Landmarked archaeological site is known as the Honokōhau Settlement. The park was established on November 10, 1978, for the preservation, protection, and interpretation of traditional native Hawaiian activities and culture.

    Honokohau Turtle Trail Walk ( 30 min) Easy but uneven ground. Next is a relaxing stroll down a trail ( 100 yards 10 min walk ) to a beautiful white sand beach and archeological site of a Hawaiian Fish Trap made with lava rock and Hawaiian Hut reconstructed. This area is also home to our local wildlife, including local birds and Hawaiian green sea turtles!

Kelvin was great! We had a wonderful time drinking coffee and watching turtles. My only complaint is there was not a stool to help get off and on the shuttle.

Kelvin was awesome very knowledgeable and friendly. This tour is one of the best on Kona. My wife and I truly enjoyed all the stops. You’re gonna love seeing the turtles.

Our tour guide “Rusty” was a great driver and provided continuous expert commentary throughout, keeping the day fun and enjoyable for all of us! She went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience, and we would highly recommend her to anyone!
