First up, this is a mountain bike tour. We do not offer tours by e-bike. Be prepared to pedal! Setting off from Korcula you’ll pass by beautiful countryside, vineyards & olive groves whilst enjoying fantastic views of the village, archipelago and the Peljesac channel. During a couple of rest stops (make sure you bring water) we will share with you local knowledge about the area and answer any of your questions. Towards the end of the bike ride, you’ll head to two family-run wineries to refresh & reward yourself with delicious wine grown in the area. This includes tastings of Grk, a unique and flavoursome white wine originating from Lumbarda. Traditional appetisers will be served at one winery to accompany your wine tasting. Once joyfully filled with wine and snacks it's time to head back to Korcula Town. And relax at ease, we will provide a transfer for you and your bike – so no need to worry about cycling back after a few drinks. Please read below about the bike ride difficulty.

  • Important note about the cycling. Bikes are mountain bikes. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and experience of riding a bike. You will cycle around 10kms and this includes several hills. The route may include some unlevel surfaces and off road terrain. Keep in mind as well it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for some people. Although the ride is leisurely, we just want to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

My wife and I took the Bike & Wine Tour with John. It was one of the highlights of our trip. John was an incredible host, guiding us through beautiful grape vines and olive trees on the way from Korcula Old Town to Lumbarda. John was so knowledgeable about the wines, and the olive oil producing as well. He spent a great deal of time with our group and it was so much fun just being apart of this experience. There were incredible views of the ocean along the way and at the two local wineries where we sampled. Popic Winery also provided an amazing charcuterie board which went great with the wine. John thanks so much for the time you spent with us! It truly was a great day that we will never forget.

We had a wonderful tour with Rachel. The cycling is more than just a saunter on the flat but it suited us perfectly and the bikes were great and made the cycling easy. The wineries were excellent and very generous with the tastings. It was an interesting and very enjoyable tour.

We had an unbelievable experience with John. From the start, John made us feel comfortable with the bikes and how to operate them to maximize our comfort. The pace of the ride was great, and John made frequent stops (in shade) for us to catch our breath, drink water, and inform of us of the local area/culture. There are hills, which gave us a workout, but you should not have a problem using a lower gear. We went to two wineries, each with their own appeal and charm. We loved both of them, and were able to meet the winemaker at each. The second one was amazing. The food was delicious, and we never felt rushed, even though we stayed past our time. The conversation flowed and time was not important. John has a great life story and is an interesting guy to get to know. Highly recommend this tour for the views, workout, wine, and great conversation. Thank You John!
