You will explore the east side of the island and its finest parts starting from the unique medieval town of Korcula. The tour has been designed to enjoy its every little moment while evoking the spirits of ancient and nearly forgotten times blended with a feeling of the Mediterranean serenity and lifestyle. Having ridden through the lovely countryside of scenic landscapes and views to the mountain of Saint Ilija you will arrive to the spread out village of Lumbarda boasting wonderful sandy beaches, magical vineyards of indigenous Grk vines, as well as wine-making tradition ever since the Illyrians inhabiting the area long before the Greeks came to colonize it.

    You meet your guide, get the mountain bikes and after a short introduction set out in direction of Lumbarda. First stop is at the foot of the tiny hill where you leave the bikes and shortly walk up the stone steps surrounded by tall cypress trees and when you get to the top there's a little church of st. Anthony and you'll hear an interesting story how and why it was built at that magical spot.

    Next you ride through a field where there's an old water point.
  • Lumbarda, Lumbarda, Croatia
    After that you will arrive to Lumbarda village and ride through unique vineyards of Grk vine sort and have a wine and snack tasting (approximately 1 hour) at a winery producing the best quality white and red wines on the east side of Korčula island.

    Then you ride on to the coast and if you wish, you will stop at one of the famous Lumbarda sandy beaches for a refreshing swim in a clear water. The way back takes you to see the most of Lumbarda and then you ride back to Korčula.

We really enjoyed the tour, our guide was excellent, lots of stories and information about the island as we toured along. Kept pace appropriate for our group, cycling was easy, and we really didn't rush at all. Food at the winery was wonderful, plenty of time there to taste the wines. Even got to have a swim at the sand beach near Lombarda. Highly recommend.

We had a really great morning cycling from korcula to Lombardo with our guide damir. The cycling was easy and we stopped a few times for a quick break and take in some local historical sites. The winery visit was brilliant…very friendly and informative with lovely wines and a fantastic snack brunch lunch. Returning back to korcula we even had time for a quick beach visit and swim. The whole morning experience lasted nearly 4.5 hours. We all agreed that this was a korcula highlight.

The bike tour was an incredible ride with a very knowledgeable and friendly host. We stopped along the way to see interesting cultural sites on the island, had delicious wine, fruit, cheese and meat at the vineyard, and stopped by a local beach for a swim and coffee. It was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend for any considering.
