    This trip is designed to give you all the freedom you wish to discover Zia on your own terms. The minibus will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to its center. You will enjoy discovering the village by yourself, at your own pace, without a guide. Zia is an enchanting little village that lies at the base of Mount Dikeos, the highest mountain of Kos island, that culminates at 846m above sea level. The village has kept its traditional feel and has become one of the major tourist attractions of the island. Here you wiall find many little shops selling local products, arts and crafts. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you will enjoy to sip your drink or dine on a romantic terrace while admiring the most beautiful sunset on Kos. We recommend you to try the famous delicious homemade lemonade served everywhere. You will have approximately 2 and a half hours free time.

Honestly don’t bother booking this trip unless you reserve a table somewhere. My partner and I thought it would be nice to take a trip to Zia for the sunset. We arrived around 7pm and were some of the first people to arrive at one of the tavernas. When we entered EVERY table was reserved! The tour guide who we booked with didn’t advise us to make a reservation in advance. We tried 4 different places to try and get a table and they were all full… we found 1 place where we had to wait for them to make a table for us and by the time we got sorted the sunset had been and gone. You can’t easily get a taxi back because the taxi service is always busy and the bus times are miles apart. In our case, we’d just had enough and wanted to leave early but because we couldn’t find a way back on our own we had to just wait for the transfer coach ???? the views are really nice and so is the little village but safe to say I personally wouldn’t visit again. I can get a better sunset at the beach ????????

Azoknak, akik a naplementéért mennek nagyon ajánlom. 3 óra szabadidőnk volt, ebbe pont belefér egy kis ajándékvásárlás, a templom megnézése- ehhez kicsit visszafele kell sétálni, és a naplementét nem csak a feljáróról lehet megnézni. Hanem nagyon ajánlom a natur parkot 30perces felfedezés (teknősök, nyuszik) és a falu legmagasabb pontja itt található. Itt zavartalanabbul készíthetsz fotókat. Ha enni is szeretnél ezek mellett, akkor inkább korábban menj. Este 6-7ig szinte üres a falu, ezután viszont tömeg van és káosz az óriásbuszoktól.

Was heel leuk, goede transfer en mooi uitzicht gezien. Ongeveer 3 uur op locatie Zia geweest, wat mij betreft lang genoeg.
