    Fort Gorazda is a fortification built by the Austro-Hungarian Empire near Kotor in Montenegro. The current fort was built between 1884–86 and replaced an earlier structure on the same site; its most notable feature is a 100-ton Gruson rotating turret on its roof, the last remaining example of its type. The fort was used by the Austrians in artillery duels against Montenegrin batteries stationed on Mount Lovćen during the First World War.

The views just keep getting better the higher you go! This was a great tour with Mishko. He contacted me ahead of our tour day to firm up the time and meeting place. After our sightseeing, he took us to a wonderful local restaurant for a great meal and delicious local wine.

Misko was a great guide, very informative and a good driver - although you need to be on the roads we took! First be took us to an abandoned fortress, now reclaimed by nature, a very interesting stop and nice to visit somewhere that wasn't 'touristy'. Next we continued up the mountain to experience some of the best views of our trip. Climbing the steps was hard work, especially in the heat, but it was definitely worth it. Afterwards we enjoyed some local food before he dropped us off at the old town so we can explore further in our own time. Misko was kept to schedule our schedule and explained everything very well. Would definitely recommend this tour. If you get travel sick I would recommend taking medication as the roads are very windey. Although don't make the same mistake as me and ensure they are non-drowsy ones.... I think I dozed off on the way back, apologies Misko!

Great day trip while in port- easy pickup from the tender pier, we were able to see the sights well ahead of the tour busses. Great lunch with typical Montenegrin food. I was in communication with Misko through WhatsApp in the days before the tour to verify times/location, and we had no issues with logistics.
