Auschwitz was established in 1940 It was the biggest Nazi concentration camp for Poles and prisoners from other countries. They were condemned by the hitlerite fascism to isolation and slow extermination by hunger, exhausting work, criminal experiments, or to a quick death as a result of individual and mass executions. A place definitely worth seeing. Wieliczka Salt mine Is a priceless historical monument of the world's material culture and the only open mining facility in the world working continuously since the Middle Ages. • One of the most well-known tourist facilities in Poland • A complex of underground excavations consisting of 3 thousand chambers of the total length of 300 km at levels from 64 to 327 meters deep • Inscribed onto the First UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage List in 1978

  • Krakow's Rynek Glowny Central Square, Krakow, Poland
    Whole event takes around 10 hours. You will be picked up directly from your accommodation place in between 07:30am and 09:30am(pick up time will be confirmed). Meeting will took place either at the front-desk of a hotel or outside near an entry to apartments. Just after collecting all participants you will reach Auschwitz in about 1 hour 15 minutes.

    English guided tour in Auschwitz and Birkenau Museum is provided by a licensed museum guide . (Headphones are included) Visiting the camps takes around 3,5 hours and consists of sightseeing of two Nazi camps & Auschwitz and Birkenau.

Travelled all the way to Poland from the uk and then the night before we were going to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau the tour was cancelled which was very disappointing as this was booked weeks in advance and was the main reason for our trip. The tour operator did refund us. The next day we decided to take our hire car to the camps and just to have a look to see what we could see ,to our amazement the museums were free entry and we walked straight in. We told the museum what happened and they said this happens all the time with tour operators and the museum will not accept tickets that haven’t been booked though there own personal website. The visit was very moving and well worth a visit

Interesting and very sad place.but anyway it is part of the history...it is a real memorial place, the guide was vety informative and friendly
