Auschwitz, a camp of terror, genocide and the Holocaust, was  estabilished in 1940 by Nazis. Located in the suburbs of Oswiecim – at that time a part of Third Reich. Probably it was the largest place of genocide, where almost 1.5 milion people lost life. In 2016 over 2 milion people visited Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum from around the world. They walked through the entrance, “Gate of Death” – the same walk as prisoners did over 70 years ago.

BART was our driver for the day. He a great driver and looked after us well. We had a private car for the day it was well worth the money.

They cancelled our excursion the evening before, I messaged them to ask what time we were being picked up as hadn’t heard anything since it was confirmed. Their first excuse was weather then when I messaged them again it was that no one had confirmed it even though I had a confirmation number from 31/12/24. I have messaged asking for a refund but no one is answering me. Not impressed at all and will be taking this further.
