    Visiting German death camps at Auschwitz has become a symbol of World War II atrocities. Created by the Nazis in occupied Poland in 1940 near the town of Oswiecim. Immediately after the war ended camps were transformed into the museum, that was in 1947. Since then visitors can see the conditions in which people lived and literally feel the enormity of atrocities perpetrated upon them. The current museum occupies an area of two extant parts of the former Nazi concentration camp – Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau.   • Wieliczka Salt Mine, Wieliczka, Poland
    Wieliczka Salt Mine is located just 12 km (7,5 miles) from the city center of Kraków and is certainly one of the most offen visited places in Poland. This is the oldest salt mine in the world, which is operating with no interruption since the Middle Ages . Here you can find lots of underground caves, chambers and even a lakes. The total length of the mine is about 300km (186 miles) on 9 level, of which deepest reaches 327m (357 yards). You can see here how through the centuries people have perfected the art of mining.

Our driver Sebastian was excellent on time very efficient making sure we knew where we’re going and where to meet up. We went for the lunch option was was great kept us going in what was a very long day. Auschwitz was as you would imagine very thought provoking somewhere I’m glad we visited. The salt mines on the other hand were fascinating lots of walking so not for someone with walking difficulties. Perhaps it should mention the 310 steps you initially have to walk down. All in all a fantastic day!

This was or first time in Krakow and we decided to both is in advance. On the day everything ran smoothly, we will pick up on time at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. I'll drive a spoke English fluently, super friendly and very experienced about the guide. He provided us with our lunch and this was handed to us at an appropriate time. As for the tour I would rate the tour in the morning and the afternoon 10 out of 10 was absolutely excellent worried not for the unfortunate historical context of the concentration camp. Our guide at the camp was equally excellent. He was very knowledgeable, spoke very clear English and was willing to answer any and all questions that we might ask. We were in a group of 30 we were each provided with headphones to link to the translator guide and we were able to hear perfectly. I thoroughly recommend this tool and could not speak too highly of it.
