We will collect you directly at your hotel / apartment in Krakow city centre. The tour lasts about 7 hours from pick up to drop off. It is conducted in a group with an English speaking local guide. You do not have to make any additional reservation apart from booking this tour with us as this tour already includes English guide and entry tickets. Our tour leader or English speaking driver will take a very good care of you throughout the day; from the journey to checking you in at the venue, transporting you to each Camp and on your way back to your accommodation in Krakow. The tour includes visiting both parts of the Camp with a licensed local guide: Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. There is a short break during the tour (about 10 mins) between visiting the two Camps. Feel free to take own lunch. Alternatively you can use the snack shops or vending machines which are located right there. IMPORTANT: You must provide names of all participants as entry tickets are named.

We pick you up at your hotel/hostel/private apartment if it is located in Krakow city centre. Please provide the name and address of your accomodation by typing it manually.
We need to know your address no later than 24 hours before the tour starts otherwise we will ask you to come up for a pick up at a designated place in the city center.

VERY IMPORTANT REGARDING PICK UP TIME:
We have different pick up time each day, it can be between 6.00 am and 3.00 pm. You'll be informed about the exact pick up time, a day before the tour, in the afternoon.

    You will visit both parts of the former largest Nazi German Concentration and Extermnation Camp: Auschwitz I (spending about 2 hrs there) and Auschwitz II - Birkenau (visit takes about 1 h), in a group with a local English speaking guide.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

If you're interested in history and the atrocities that happened during WW2, I would highly recommend this trip. Firstly I would like to mention our driver Pavel who was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave lots of recommendations of what we could do during our time in Krakow. He was very friendly and went the extra mile by saying that if we needed anything during our stay then to contact him, which I thought was kind. The transport was very clean and we felt safe in his care. The tour was incredibly moving and will leave a lasting impression on all of us. The tour guide was very knowledgeable too. I think the only downside to to the tour is that we didn't get time to explore alone. Whilst she gave us lots of information, it would have been nice to have given us time to read the boards. Additionally when we were in Auschwitz Birkenau, there was a whole side that we didn't go in to. We could have done with just an extra hour to have a look ourselves. That said, this is my only criticism about the trip. I would recommend using this tour guide company to visit Auschwitz and whilst we didn't have time to look by ourselves, I think we learned a lot from our tour guide which we might not have found out otherwise.
